DanceEdge studio in Grandview Heights offers a comfortable, friendly environment designed for a multitude of uses. Clean, crisp, smart and functional this multi-faceted space is home to dance lessons, salsa parties, special events, and company functions.

Meet The Dance Edge Team

Dance Edge provides some of the best talent in the industry.

Katt Baumgartner is a professional ballroom dance, competitor, choreographer and instructor and a former member of the Dayton Ballet’s pre-professional company. Ranked at the No. 1 Top Female teacher in the World in DanceSport Series, Katt has the experience and skill to allow you to reach your fullest potential.

Diego Semprum – Originally from Venezuela, Diego started teaching and performing at the age of 16. As a certified ballroom dance teacher in rhythm smooth and social dance, he focuses on developing the necessary skills for each individual student to get their dancing to the next level – from beginners to professionals. He currently competes all around the United States and has won many dance titles.

Todd Smith – Todd is a highly sought after instructor in salsa and bachata, and travels to Latin dance festivals to bring the latest music and dance combinations from top instructors around the world. Todd is the founder and marketing director of Lincoln Street Salsa, and co-hosts the event along with his business partner, Jeff Goltiao.

Maura Garuccio Clements – As an Italian Ballroom Dance Champion in the International Standard division, Maura has danced in ballrooms all over Italy and Europe. Since moving to the United States to further pursue her dance career, Maura has expanded her repertoire to include American Smooth and Rhythm in addition to the International Ballroom and Latin styles. She regularly competes in the Pro-Am category, while coaching new and established dancers on technique. She is able to make students feel at ease, be encouraging and provide constructive criticism that positively reinforces proper execution.

Amie Cressie has a background in jazz and ballroom dance, however she now specializes in Argentine Tango. She performs in Columbus with Francesco Guerra, who has been dancing Tango for over 20 years. Amie has also performed in Los Angeles, California and Sydney, Australia where she also lived. Amie loves to travel and has learned from top instructors at Tango Festivals worldwide. Amie enjoys hosting Tango events, teaching group classes, and private lessons at Dance Edge. She also enjoys blogging, which you can read on her website Strictly Tango.
